The driver monitoring system, also known as DMS, is a technology that is integrated into the vehicle and used to track and evaluate the driver's status and driving behavior in real time. With the intelligent transformation of the automotive industry, DMS integrating AI technology has gradually become a main trend. The IMX93 core board produced by Qiyang Intelligent is based on dual-core Cortex-A55 and single-core Cortex-M33 architecture, providing high computing power and low energy consumption, suitable for driving monitoring systems that require continuous operation.

The automotive driver monitoring system relies on cameras to capture the driver's facial expressions, eye movements and head position. The IMX93 core board has a built-in Arm Ethos-U65 micro neural processing unit (NPU), which can accelerate machine learning tasks and improve the real-time monitoring and analysis capabilities of the driver monitoring system.

 

It supports a variety of interfaces such as MIPI-CSI, CAN-FD, USB, and UART, and can be used to connect cameras, infrared sensors, motion sensors, and integrate with other systems. It has flexibility and scalability to meet diverse application needs.

 

The I.MX93 series processors have joined the NXP product long-term supply plan and have an ultra-long life cycle of 15 years, which is suitable for the long-term product plan of the automotive industry.
