ECMO system solution

It is widely used in the treatment of severe lung function injury, heart failure, congenital heart disease and other diseases. ECMO working principle

ECMO is a kind of extracorporeal circulation support technology. Through surgical operation, the catheter is inserted into the vein or artery of the patient, the blood of the patient is extracted, and the blood passes through the pulmonary membrane oxygenator to remove carbon dioxide, and then the oxygenated blood is injected into the patient's body through the catheter to achieve the purpose of Supplementing oxygen and removing carbon dioxide. Through this extracorporeal circulation, patients are provided with long-term cardiopulmonary support and the vital signs of patients are maintained. At the same time, ECMO technology can also reduce the damage of mechanical ventilation to patients' lungs and help to improve the survival rate of patients.

ECMO Operating system

 

The ECMO operating system is mainly composed of ECMO host, ECMO pump, oxygenator, filter, temperature control system and monitoring instrument, etc. It is used to process the patient's blood by oxygenation, remove carbon dioxide, and detect and control the patient's life support parameters in real time. The relevant data of these devices are processed and analyzed and transmitted to the ECMO host, and finally the processed image data is displayed on the display screen, for medical staff to monitor and master the life support of patients in real time. In addition, when the monitoring data is abnormal, the ECMO host can also issue an alarm to remind medical personnel to take timely medical measures.

 

ECMO system solution

Qiyang intelligence proposed the ECMO system solution of ARM embedded hardware.The IAC-IMX8MP-CM core board designed and developed based on the Rockchip NXP i.MX8M Plus processor can be applied to the ECMO system.

Rockchip NXP i.MX8M Plus processor adopts 14nm FinFET process technology, which can improve the performance and stability of system operation, and optimize energy consumption at the same time. It adopts quad-core Cortex-A53 core, the main frequency can reach 1.6GHz, and the main frequency is 800MHz The real-time processing function of the advanced Cortex-M7 core enables the ECMO system to collect and process patient data in real time, providing data support for doctors to formulate more accurate treatment plans.

 

Support MIPI, LVDS, HDMI and other display interfaces, can be connected to HD touch screen, display patient vital signs parameters, treatment state parameters and other information, help medical staff to better understand the patient's physical state, improve the treatment effect and patient safety.

 

The 2 GB LPDDR4 on board can be expanded to 8 GB of memory to meet the needs of the ECMO system to process a large amount of vital sign data and monitoring data, improve the data processing speed, and ensure the real-time and accuracy of the system.

It has abundant interface resources and supports 2 * LAN, multi-channel USB, UART, I2C, GPIO, PCIe3.0, CAN-FD and other IO interfaces. It meets the requirements of ECMO system connecting oxygenation system, monitoring instrument, vital sign sensor, temperature control system and other equipment, and improves data transmission rate, supports multi-task processing, supports interface expansion, and ensures the universality and flexibility of system interfaces.

ARM processors with high performance and low power consumption and long supply cycle can effectively reduce the cost of the solution and prolong the service life of the equipment.

Supports Linux and Android operating systems and is easy to develop software.
